Greg Shelnutt lives in Newark, Delaware where he serves as a professor and the chair of the Department of Art & Design at the University of Delaware. From 2011 to 2017, he served as chair of the Art Department at Clemson University; from 2000-2011, he was a member of the Visual Arts faculty at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts teaching sculpture. In 2005, he was appointed Director of the Visual Arts Program at UNCSA. From 1988 to May of 2000, he taught sculpture at the University of Mississippi, also teaching for the University of Georgia’s Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy, in 1991. In 1992 he was a Visiting Artist at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia.
